Embark on a voyage to the outer realms of our universe, where the very fabric of space and time is distorted by an overwhelming force of gravity in ways we cannot yet comprehend. On the Edge of Oblivion is a collection of on-chain art inspired by the first photograph captured by a telescope of the Messier 87 black hole.
Aside from #1 which is inscribed as #9,978, all other pieces are securely inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain under inscription ID 22,000. Inscription order is based on ERC-721 token ID. Each piece was inscribed in its own dedicated Bitcoin wallet, allowing owners to view their counterpart Ordinal and bridge to take trustless custody of it.
The Oblivion collection was available to mint for 3 weeks before Ordinals launched. 336 pieces out of 555 were minted for free on Ethereum.
