NULLISH
I am an artist who recognized early-on the potential to redefine the way we understand and categorize digital art on Bitcoin, focusing on the rare satoshis, a unique aspect of Ordinals which highlights the history behind an individual sats. This is my journey on Bitcoin.
Featured at Sotheby's, at the Bitcoin Conference auction in 2023, in the Xverse/Gamma Ordinals Alley, in Mashable, in Nftnow, in CoinGecko, and most importantly on everyone's Bitcoin node.

Distortion is a fully hand-typed 100% on-chain art collection, designed to be displayed with no external browser libraries (e.g. p5js). Each of the 1,111 Distortions are inscribed onto the Bitcoin blockchain between blocks 38,949 and 44,016.
Distortion's skeleton is wrapped within a smart contract, which uses the hash of the block of the original collection's final mint as an input to ensure that the collection has an immutable and verifiable provenance. This is currently the only official collection, with a total max supply of 1,111 pieces.
With its bold and dynamic visual style, Distortion is a stunning example of the creative possibilities of on-chain art. By creating each piece completely on-chain and using the Bitcoin blockchain as the platform for display and ownership, Nullish has created a truly unique and innovative collection that pushes the boundaries of what is possible with digital art.
Welcome to the over-the-counter (OTC) desk. Here, serious collectors seeking extraordinary artifacts can discover select pieces from Nullish's own collection and vault, treasures that are reserved for private sales or special auctions, likely never to appear on the open market.

Celestial is a fully on-chain art collection with a unique upgradeable feature. The collection has the potential to change with time, with one level of complexity able to be added directly by a wallet interaction of the owner every 14 days. The level count will increase automatically upon the call of the upgrade function by the holder, in turn creating interesting dynamics when it comes time to transfer the token out of your wallet (sale or transfer).
The max supply of Celestial is set in stone at 1,064 due to the Distortion holders who merged their claims to obtain higher level Celestial pieces - which reduced the supply from 1,111.

Antimatter is a mesmerizing on-chain art project that explores the abstract concept of antimatter through visual chaos. The collection features a large array of vibrating squares and circles that pulse in an imperfect synchronicity, creating a hypnotic world of rhythm and movement.
Satoshi Nakamoto mined the first ever Bitcoin block, the genesis block, on January 3rd, 2009, with a message referencing the financial crisis: The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks. It remains a symbol of Bitcoin's origins and decentralized values. Serving as a literal algorithmic input behind Antimatter, the hash of the genesis block is one of the two inputs of the main function generating all 5 pieces.
Each piece of Antimatter is a fully on-chain, hand-typed generative art project that is forever etched on the Bitcoin blockchain as a set of 5 Ordinal. With its bold and dynamic visual style and its use of the Bitcoin blockchain for secure and verifiable ownership, Antimatter is a unique and innovative collection that pushes the boundaries of what is possible with digital art.
The 5 pieces are titled: Quantum Tremors, The Singularity, Echoes of Matter, Plasma Square, & The Tesseract.

Uncommon Patterns is the first full-feature cohesive generative Ordinal project that delves into Ordinal theory rarity. Through scalable vector graphics' turbulence filters, this simple yet output-diverse collection displays a chaotic approach to generative art. The project consists of 50 pieces, each ranked by sat age, all inscribed on uncommon sats.
Witness the beauty within the chaos of a handwritten algorithm that generates breathtaking images through the magic of turbulence filters, shapes and strokes. It creates unpredictable artwork. Yet, in the midst of this turbulent chaos, there is a sense of algorithmic prophecy, gives it meaning and direction. Each piece takes as input the hash of the block of the uncommon sat it is inscribed on and solely uses it to generate its art.
This is not just an artistic experiment, but an ode to handwritten creativity. Through its handcrafted algorithm, Uncommon Patterns produces a unique and captivating artwork with each iteration, adding a sense of unpredictability and chaos into each piece.

Introducing The Final Pattern, the first fractionalized inscription on the Bitcoin blockchain with forward-backward provenance, provably tracing its origins back to the original inscription.
The last piece of the Uncommon Patterns collection was sent to Satoshi's wallet as a burn action, and fractionalized into 2,025 individual pieces, each inscribed on sats from the historic block 78, which was the first block mined by Hal Finney on January 11th, 2009 and also the first ever block mined by someone other than Satoshi Nakamoto just 3 days after the first block.

The Final Manifesto is a reinterpretation of the "Cypherpunk's Manifesto" by Eric Hughes. The original manifesto laid the philosophical groundwork for the cypherpunk movement, advocating for the use of strong cryptography as a route to social and political change.
On the other hand, this piece undergoes a process of corruption over time. Once its final deterioration state is achieved, is serves as a metaphor for the modern state of privacy, which is arguably the opposite of what the original manifesto contains.

Each piece of the collection (i.e. Remnants) captures the aftermath of a supernova explosion located in its own corner of the universe. Some are only hundreds of light years away from us, and others, billions. Nullish Labs' Imaging System translates telescope data outside the visible light spectrum into mesmerizing patterns of cosmic debris left behind by the destruction of a star. Remnants symbolize the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
"Remnants of a Distant Supernova," signifies an important moment for the Nullish art ecosystem and highlights my steadfast focus on Bitcoin moving forward. This collection will consist of 1,111 pieces, with every single one inscribed on on block 9 sats: the same (Nullish) range used for OMB.
The project introduces an initial 1:1 burn-to-redeem opportunity for the Distortion collection on Ethereum that is purposely gamified via rarities. This marks the beginning of the end of an era for Nullish on Ethereum.

Antimatter particles can be stored in a Penning-Malmberg Trap (PMT) by using magnetic and electric fields to isolate them from any matter, including the walls of the container.
The Antimatter Containment System Monitor (ACSM) lets you visualize these particles as they dance precariously close to annihilation while a dynamic graph illustrates their confinement within the magnetic fields generated by the PMT.
The ACSM piece was released via Gamma Prints which are copies of an original inscription. The original inscription was auctioned of on Gamma on September 30th.

The Nullish Ordinal Faucet was a contract on the Ethereum blockchain that verified users as holders of any Nullish projects, enabling them to claim a complimentary test inscription on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Created with the intention of encouraging users to experiment with Bitcoin UTXO-compatible wallets like Sparrow, the faucet aimed to assist in the early stages of the Ordinal protocol. Generating inscriptions necessitated a full Bitcoin node and an Ordinal index file, collectively amounting to around 800 GB. The computational resources required for indexing the Bitcoin blockchain for Ordinal transactions were also considerable.
When users visited the now-defunct faucet website, they could connect their Ethereum wallet, choose the owned collection and token ID, input their Bitcoin wallet address, and request an inscription for just the cost of Ethereum network gas fees.
Certain early inscriptions containing plaintext are likely to be faucet inscriptions.
